A Canadian Heritage Treasure
Our collection is national in scope and represents 45 rare and historically significant aircraft, artifacts and archival material. Our Museum boasts the most complete collection of bush planes in the world and are known as the workhorses of Canada’s history. They were flown hard. Some were retrieved from the bottoms of lakes or the sides of mountains and have been painstakingly restored to showroom condition. Others are on display in their retirement splendour—dented, patched and pranged, souvenirs of a career in Canada’s relentless terrain.
