July Guided Tour: Canadian Aviation Innovations

Canada has been at the forefront of aviation innovation for approximately 100 years. Early bush pilots of the 1920s and 1930s pioneered the frigid Canadian frontier in planes made of wood and cloth and challenged the world to re-imagine the limits of flight. This innovative spirit continued into the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s when manufacturers such as Canadair, Bristol Aerospace and Avro Canada made headlines. Canadian designers and engineers built some of the world’s first helicopters, tilt-wing aircraft and even a prototype flying car. Join us in July to explore some of the most extraordinary aircraft ever to fly Canadian skies. Tours are free with admission. Tours are always free for our members. Tours are Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 pm.
