It’s a block party at the museum and you’re the missing piece!
The Manitoba LEGO Users Group (MBLUG) is back! And we’re excited to host a brick-tastic day at our 2026 LEGO® exhibition.
• MBLUG members will bring some of their favourite aviation-themed creations for display.
• A free-play area for visitors to get creative and have fun with building bricks.
• LEGO® build contest. The Winner in each category will receive a LEGO® set award!
• Everyone can vote on their favourite build and then enter to win a LEGO@ set draw at the MBLUG table.
This event is included with admission/membership.

Block Party! LEGO® build contest
GENERAL GUIDELINES
Participants must register in advance in one of four age categories:
Category 1: Ages 5 – 7
Category 2: Ages 8 – 10
Category 3: Age 11 – 13
Category 4: Age 14+
Designs must adhere to either an AVIATION or AEROSPACE theme, or a combination of the two.
Designs must be built at home and brought in for judging.
We’re grateful to everyone who participates, but please note that entries are capped at 80 to keep things fair and manageable.
JUDGING
Designs will be judged based on creativity, technicality, and adherence to one or both of the themes.
All entrants must have their designs to the museum by 12:00 pm.
Judging will take place at 2:30 pm.
Entrants must be present to win.
PRIZES
One prize LEGO® set will be awarded in each age category.
Families and attendees are invited to vote for their favourite build during the exhibition, and the winning builder will receive a LEGO® set!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The Museum offers visitor parking in the lot adjacent to our building at 2088 Wellington Ave.
During particularly popular events, our parking lot may reach capacity. When this occurs, guests are welcome to use the nearby Winnipeg Airports Authority (WAA) Economy parking lot.
To access the WAA Economy lot, stay left on Wellington Avenue and continue past the 7-Eleven, where you can loop around and follow to the left to enter the WAA lot.
Please note that WAA parking rates apply.
